two weeks to go

Only two weeks to go.  LIfe is going to be different.  Thanks for visiting my blog. I am not through yet but would love to have comments so I know you are really there or else why am I doing this?
Our mission has been a choice experience to say the least.  We have see the hand of the Lord in all things and made countless new friends and fallen in love with the South. Our testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ continue to grow and we are ever grateful for all the numerous blessings we recieve each day.

This morning there were these two orange beaked ducks on our pond. I have not seen them before. They were so peaceful and fun to photograph.

These are a ton of fun.  I don't like crawfish (they are called "mud bugs")but the hotdogs and hamburgers and jambalaya and gumbo were all delicious.  the kids all had such a blast on the water slide and the weather was great. Not real hot and a slight breeze.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is the day when all the young missionaries get to call their moms.  some of them get to Skype them.  Happy day for everyone.  I loved getting to talk to all of my kids during the day. (one before) thanks everyone.

Old Young Friends Came to Visit

It was so much fun to see bonnie and Matt and meet their darling boys. We went to lunch at the Bayou Country Store and had some Po Boy Sandwiches.  A first for them. P.S.  Of course the alligator isn't real but he is a great resemblance.
