Ann is just the most loving and cheerful person no matter what else i s going on. Her mom, Agnes was baptized on Saturday by our ward Mission President Smith and confirmed by Elder Matson on Easter Sunday. Ann wanted to make sure that she would not miss giving us a farewell dinner because she will be starting a second job again soon so she hosted a wonderful dinner for us this Monday Evening and invited the guests you see in the picture. she is so delightful and loving.

Southern Jambalaya Yummm

Jambalaya is not only delicious but it is healthy as you can see by the recipe, It is a meal in itself.  Add a fruit for dessert if you wish and you are good! My way of cooking has been expanded now as I am learning to make some scrumptious southern dishes.

Celebration

After a guy has been through a huge long ordeal with open heart surgery and recovery it is so great find that job and go back to work.  We are so happy to see him ring this bell.  He has been working full time on his job search.  We also like to give them a little treat in jest.  What else but a "PayDay" bar.  They might like the $100 Million Dollar Bar too. *U*

Mississippi southern hospitality

This sweet lady showed us her flowers.  She took us inside her beautiful Southern home and gave us a plate of chocolaty treats from her freezer, delicious home made fig jam  and made us feel greatly loved. They really know how to do that in the South.

I taught her to make a clever pillowcase.  She did a great job and made two of them.  Happy girl!

Tuesday was Sister Werb's last day as a Employment Service Missionary.  She has a passion  for helping the downtroden and compassion for them and can feel their pain.  She has made countless phone calls and advised people and been our luncheon expert as she has prepared over 40 lunches for the attendees of the Career Workshops.  She has tuaght us all so much.  After closing yesterday we had a little gathering and presented her with this beautiful little mirror with birds.  She loves the birds and animals and has a special connection with them.

We will miss her in the Employment Center but she is still our star student in the music keyboarding class.  She practices 2 hours a day and has made amazing rapid progress.  You would never guess that she is 78 years old and still very energetic and busy creating and selling her greeting cards that are masterpieces.

We wish her well in her coming new callings.
