Rejoice

1 Nephi 1 :15

What

Lehi praised God, he rejoiced. His whole heart was filed because of the visions from God..

Why

The visions brought him so much joy because he could see the Lord's plan and knew he was blessed.

1 Peter 4:13 Rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings.

Discipleship lifts our spirits and lightens our hearts...it inspires us and fills our souls with faith, hope and charity. It fills our spirits with light in time of darkness and serenity during times of sorrow. It gives us divine power and lasting joy.

Apply- Gratitude for our blessings brings joy.  Christ's atonement gives us reason to rejoice despite the trials.  Too often we forget to look at things from an eternal perspective.
